General FAQs

  • For our main events we cover London and surrounding counties so that we are within travelling distance from our base if needed. However, we do regularly travel further afield for smaller hire packages such as disco's, fun catering and games hire. We have been known to travel as far as Slovakia for events!

  • Yes. Although our website showcases most of the large events we do, most of our events are on smaller budgets. We treat all of our clients with the same care and all events with the same attention to detail.

  • Party Doctors was established in 2005. Since then Party Doctors has grown rapidly in to the production powerhouse it is today. In January 2019, Insanity Productions Ltd became the parent company of Party Doctors providing a wealth of technical equipment and experience that forms the backbone of our bespoke productions. 

  • The sooner the better. Booking early ensures your preferred date is secured and allows us to plan everything to the highest standard.

  • Anything and everything! We cover a wide range of events, including 16th birthdays, weddings, corporate events and everything in between. If you’ve got an event in mind, we can make it happen.. We have produced celebrity birthdays, corporate socials, product activations, fairytale weddings and awards ceremonies to name a few. We consider it a privilege to be trusted by our clients to deliver an unforgettable event experience, each and every time. Oh, and we love a challenge - take our over swimming pool dance floors for example!

  • Yes, we offer a free, no-obligation site visit for most enquiries. This allows us to assess the space, understand your requirements, and determine the best setup for your event.

  • All bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

  • We understand plans can change. We can adapt setups where possible, and we also offer marquee hire (subject to availability and event requirements). Ideally, we would need at least one week’s notice.

  • Yes, all staff are fully insured, and all equipment is professionally maintained and PAT tested.

  • We own the majority of our equipment and carry spares where possible. This allows us to respond quickly and keep your event running smoothly with minimal disruption.

  • Depending on the size and scale of the event, we may require access in advance to ensure everything is set up safely and on time.

  • While we don’t book venues or suppliers on your behalf, we’re more than happy to work alongside your chosen venue and suppliers to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

  • Yes, a 50% deposit is required to secure your event date and the items outlined in your proposal. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the event.

  • Marquee FAQs

  • This depends on your guest numbers, layout, and any extras such as dance floors or seating. We’ll guide you on the best size based on your requirements.

  • Marquees can be installed on grass, concrete, or hard surfaces. We’ll assess your location and ensure the correct setup method is used.

  • Flooring can be included as part of your package if required, helping to create a stable and comfortable space for your event.

  • Yes, we can supply heating options to keep your guests comfortable during colder months.

  • Our marquees are designed to handle typical UK weather, including rain and wind, ensuring your event can go ahead smoothly.

  • Setup time depends on the size and complexity, but we usually install marquees 1–2 days before the event.

  • Yes, we can fully customise lighting inside the marquee to match your event style and atmosphere.

  • Yes, we can arrange generator hire if your venue does not have a suitable power supply.

  • We’ll always try to accommodate last-minute requests, subject to availability.

  • Yes, we can tailor lighting, setups, and overall production to match your theme.
